How is it being one of the best backcourts in the NBA?

For me personally it's cool to be mentioned but I don't put my work in for that. I put my work in so that I feel like I did everything in my power to maximize my career, help the team and be able to bust ass

I think the playing field is more even than ever. No home court... everybody gone have to shake off some rust ...no fans... this environment you gone need dudes with real confidence ... comfort when shit is on the line... I think in a playoff situation we would do well. We just have to get there. Teams know that... so I don't think anyone would shy away at all but they won't pull our card .

CJ how tuff was it coming up and waiting your turn to play? What type of mindset did you have to get thru it?

It was hard man. Especially watching my homies play right away and have success knowing I was capable of playing but just in a different situation. It took a lot of patience and maturity to get through it. Humbling process but you have to humble yourself in order to truly appreciate and take advantage of success

It was a blessing for me because I was given the freedom to make mistakes ... be myself without it being held against me... and I had talent around me... sometimes guys might be good enough to do what I've done if they were given the same opportunity they just don't get it or something just doesn't work out... I loved playing with LA. He was a perfect fit with me in the NBA. I just wish I wasn't so young in my career because I didn't know how to interact/communicate with him

So let me ask y’all… How do you feel like the NBA’s handled the conversation around social justice?

Dame

I'm happy in most situations they don't shy away or try to be on the right side of politics. I struggle sometimes while we here with the thought of them appeasing us or truly being invested and actively participating.

I love the fact that they empower Us to speak on social Issues especially black lives matter while trying to figure out ways to collectively impact and change our communities. Majority of the league is represented by people of Color and more specifically Black males. So these issues hit home on the daily

I would like to see action and not just checking boxes
